I decided to do Creative Coding for my module and begin to learn how to code. The world now revolving around technology makes coding an essential skill, and I wanted to learn how to code using HTML and CSS. As I am a beginner, those are the easiest virtual languages out of many, with Java and Python being other examples. Using a resource given to me with the module, Code Academy, I began my journey on learning how to code. I didn’t have much of a baseline coming in, so my goals were to not get confused, and to be able to have a basic grasp on HTML. Furthermore, the course takes approximately 9 hours long, so I knew I wasn’t going to be able to get through all of it, but I could get a good idea of HTML and the world of coding. My goal as an end product was to just show my process in learning to code, and what I was able to accomplish. I also wanted to encourage others to try out Code Academy because the course is very thorough and easy to follow along with, and I know I will be continuing with it in some of my free time to further my knowledge.

As of 9/13/2023, I am 50% with the long course of learning HTML.
